Quick Genie Service – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Quick Genie, a service provided by Quick Genie Solutions Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quick Genie mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
1. Definitions
- Quick Genie Service (also "Quick Genie", "we", "us"): The digital platform owned by Quick Genie Solutions Private Limited, located at 46/4, NOVEL TECH PARK, GB PALYA, KUDLU GATE, Bengaluru, Karnataka - 560068, which connects Users with third-party service providers for home and personal services.
- User or Customer: Any individual or entity who registers on the Platform to book Services.
- Service Provider (also "Professional", "Provider", or "Vendor"): An independent third-party professional or business who provides a booked Service to the User.
- Platform: The Quick Genie Service website and mobile application.
- Services: The one-time or subscription-based home and personal services (e.g., maid service, babysitting, elder care, driver service, pest control, appliance repair, etc.) offered through the Platform.
- Booking: A confirmed request by a User for a Service to be performed by a Service Provider, either on a one-time basis or under a subscription plan.
- Subscription Plan: A recurring service arrangement (daily or monthly) for certain Services (specifically maid, babysitting, elder care, and driver services) as described on the Platform.
- One-Time Service: A single-instance service booked on the Platform (e.g., pest control, plumbing, appliance repair, deep cleaning, etc.).
- Terms: These Terms and Conditions, which govern the User's use of the Platform and Services.
- Grievance Officer: The designated officer responsible for addressing User complaints, whose contact details are provided in Section 12.
- Communication Channels: Electronic messaging methods such as SMS, WhatsApp, email, and similar means through which we communicate with the User.
- Governing Law: The laws of India, which govern these Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms.
2. User Eligibility and Account Creation
- Users must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law. The Platform may only be used by individuals or entities not prohibited by law from entering this Agreement.
- During registration, Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information (such as name, valid email address, mobile number, and any other requested details). Users must update their profile promptly if any of this information changes.
- Each User is allowed only one account. Sharing accounts or providing false, misleading, or incomplete information is strictly prohibited. Quick Genie reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are fraudulent or misuse the Platform.
- The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials (username, password, etc.) and for all activity that occurs under their account. Quick Genie is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the User's failure to safeguard their account information.
- Quick Genie may require additional verification (such as uploading government-issued ID or address proof) to enhance safety. By creating an account and using the Services, the User represents and warrants that they meet all eligibility criteria and will comply with these Terms.
3. Booking Policies
- Making a Booking: Users can browse available Services on the Platform, select a Service (one-time or subscription), and submit a Booking request by providing necessary details like location, date, time, duration, and any special instructions. All Bookings are subject to the availability of Service Providers.
- Service Confirmation: A Booking is only confirmed when a qualified Service Provider accepts the request or Quick Genie assigns a Provider, and the User receives a confirmation via the Platform. Quick Genie does not guarantee immediate or same-day confirmation; during peak demand or limited availability, booking confirmation may be delayed or unavailable.
- Subscription Plans: Certain Services (maid service, babysitting, elder care, driver services) may be booked on recurring daily or monthly subscription plans:
- Daily Subscription: Covers the Service on each scheduled weekday (or as defined by the plan) for a fixed number of hours per day.
- Monthly Subscription: Covers the Service on every working day or specified days of the month for a fixed number of hours per service day.
- Payment and Renewal: Subscription plans require advance payment for the initial billing cycle (e.g., one week or one month). Unless the User cancels the subscription as per these Terms, the subscription will automatically renew for the next billing period (day or month), and Quick Genie will notify the User in advance of renewal and any fee changes.
- Management: Users may pause, cancel, or modify their subscription plans through the Platform before the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests must follow the notice requirements in Section 6 to avoid further charges. No refund is given for services already rendered during a subscription period.
- One-Time Services: One-time Services are single-session bookings (e.g., pest control, appliance repair, deep cleaning). Users specify the date, time, and duration of the service. Additional charges may apply if the Service Provider spends extra time beyond the original Booking or performs tasks beyond the initial scope; any such charges will be communicated and charged as needed.
- Modifications: Users may request modifications to a confirmed Booking (such as changing the date, time, or specific details) through the Platform. Such changes are subject to the Service Provider's availability and may incur additional fees or require rebooking. All modifications must respect the notice periods outlined in Section 6; last-minute changes may be treated as cancellations.
- No Guarantee of Specific Provider: Quick Genie will attempt to match the User with a suitable Service Provider based on the User's requirements, but does not guarantee assignment of a particular individual unless explicitly confirmed. Quick Genie does not guarantee that a Service Provider will meet specific professional qualifications, except as described in these Terms.
4. Payment Terms and Methods
- Payment Methods: All payments for Services must be made through the Platform's payment system. Quick Genie accepts online payment methods such as credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, digital wallets, and other electronic payment options enabled on the Platform. Cash or other offline payment methods are not permitted unless explicitly agreed in writing with Quick Genie.
- Payment Timing:
- For One-Time Services, the required payment (or any deposit) is typically collected at the time of booking confirmation or before the service is rendered, as specified at the time of Booking.
- For Subscription Plans, payment for the first billing cycle must be made upfront before the start of service. Recurring payments for renewals will be processed automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle via the User's chosen payment method, unless the subscription is cancelled in accordance with Section 6.
- Service Fees and Taxes: The fees for Services are clearly displayed on the Platform at the time of booking (in Indian Rupees, INR). Service fees may change (due to vendor pricing or tax changes), and Quick Genie will notify the User of any changes before confirming a Booking. The User is responsible for any applicable taxes (such as GST) and statutory levies on the Services. Prices on the Platform may be exclusive of taxes unless explicitly stated.
- Processing and Security: Quick Genie uses secure, encrypted payment gateways to process transactions. By submitting payment information, the User authorizes Quick Genie and its payment processors to charge the applicable fees. The User warrants that they have the right to use any payment method provided.
- Failed Payments: If a payment attempt fails (e.g., insufficient funds or technical error), the relevant Booking or subscription will be cancelled or placed on hold unless the User resolves the issue promptly. Quick Genie is not responsible for any charges or penalties imposed by banks or payment providers due to failed payments.
- Refunds of Payments: In the event a refund is due under Section 6, Quick Genie will refund the applicable amount to the User's original payment method (or as platform credit, at Quick Genie's discretion) within 7–10 business days after processing the cancellation. Any refund will exclude amounts for any services already completed.
5. Service Providers and Platform Role
- Independent Contractors: All Service Providers on the Platform are independent contractors, micro, small, or medium enterprises, or sole proprietors. They are not employees or agents of Quick Genie. Quick Genie does not supervise the means by which Providers conduct their work and does not control their hours, compensation (beyond the Platform fees), or work methods.
- Facilitator Role: Quick Genie's responsibility is limited to facilitating the connection between Users and Service Providers and processing payments. Quick Genie does not directly provide the services booked, and it is the User's contract with the Service Provider (mediated by Quick Genie) that governs the work to be performed.
- Provider Verification: Quick Genie may conduct basic background checks and verification on Service Providers (e.g., identity verification, address verification, reference checks) to improve safety. However, Quick Genie does not guarantee that all Service Providers are licensed or certified, and Quick Genie makes no warranty as to the Provider's qualifications or trustworthiness.
- Quality of Service: Quick Genie does not guarantee the quality, safety, or results of any service. Each Service Provider is responsible for performing their service professionally and in compliance with applicable laws and standards. The User may review feedback or ratings for a Provider, but ultimately Quick Genie does not guarantee the Provider's performance.
- No Agency or Employment: The relationship between the User and the Service Provider is strictly between those parties. Quick Genie is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for any employment-related issues or disputes (such as wages, benefits, workplace injuries, or disputes arising from the service). The Service Provider is responsible for their own employees, contractors, or assistants, including compliance with labor laws and payment of wages and taxes.
- Insurance and Liability: Service Providers are expected to carry their own insurance (e.g., liability, workers' compensation) for their services and any staff. Quick Genie is not liable for any claims arising from a Service Provider's negligence, misconduct, or failure to obtain proper insurance or permits.
- Support and Disputes: Quick Genie may assist in resolving disputes between Users and Service Providers. If a service issue arises (e.g., dissatisfaction with a service), the User should contact Quick Genie's customer support promptly. Quick Genie will review the situation and may offer solutions (such as rescheduling or partial refund), but Quick Genie does not guarantee any outcome on behalf of the Service Provider.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
- Cancellation by User (One-Time Services): Users may cancel or reschedule a one-time Service Booking through the Platform within the required notice period:
- 24+ hours' notice: Full refund of any payment (minus any non-refundable fees) is allowed if cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled service time.
- 12–24 hours' notice: Cancellations made between 12 and 24 hours before service may incur a cancellation fee (e.g., 25–50% of the service fee, as specified at booking).
- Less than 12 hours' notice: Cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice (including same-day cancellations) will generally result in no refund, and the full service fee may be charged as a cancellation fee.
- If a User fails to show up at the service location without cancelling, it will be treated as a cancellation with no refund.
- Cancellation by User (Subscription Services): To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, Users must cancel a subscription at least 7 days before the renewal date. Cancelling a subscription within an active billing cycle does not entitle the User to a prorated refund for the remaining days, but the subscription will not renew further. Any payments already made for the current cycle are non-refundable except for unused services as per the above notice rules.
- Cancellation by Service Provider: If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed Booking for any reason, Quick Genie will notify the User as soon as possible. Quick Genie will attempt to provide an alternate Provider. If no alternate Provider is available, Quick Genie will cancel the Booking and issue a full refund of any payments made by the User for that Booking.
- Cancellation by Quick Genie: Quick Genie reserves the right to cancel any Booking if there are safety concerns, suspected fraud, a force majeure event (Section 14), or a violation of these Terms by either the User or the Service Provider. In such cases, Quick Genie will notify the User and provide a full refund for any prepaid services. Quick Genie is not liable for any other damages or costs arising from such cancellations.
- Rescheduling: Users may request to reschedule a Booking through the Platform. Rescheduling is subject to the same notice requirements as cancellation:
- If a rescheduling request is made with at least 24 hours' notice (for one-time services) or 7 days' notice (for subscriptions) prior to the service, and the Service Provider's schedule permits, Quick Genie will accommodate the change without penalty.
- Last-minute rescheduling requests (e.g., less than 12 hours' notice) may be denied or treated as a cancellation.
- If Quick Genie can reschedule without penalty, no cancellation fee will apply; otherwise, standard cancellation fees may apply as above.
- Refund Processing: Eligible refunds (as described above) will be processed by Quick Genie within 7–10 business days of the cancellation or qualifying event. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method or as platform credit, at Quick Genie's discretion. Any fees charged by banks or payment services (e.g., currency conversion fees) are the User's responsibility and will not be refunded.
- No-Show or Incomplete Service: If a Service Provider arrives at the location but cannot complete the service due to unsafe conditions or breach of user responsibilities (Section 7), Quick Genie may cancel the remaining service time. In such cases, the User will not receive a refund for the work already completed, and no refund or credit will be given for the canceled portion of time.
- Unsatisfactory Service: If a User is dissatisfied with a completed service due to provider non-performance or poor quality, the User should contact Quick Genie immediately. Quick Genie will investigate the complaint and may, at its discretion, offer a partial refund, account credit, or a free re-service. Any such remedy is at Quick Genie's discretion and does not waive the User's obligation to pay any undisputed portion of the Service fee.
7. User Responsibilities and Conduct
- Lawful Use: Users must use the Platform and Services only for lawful and authorized purposes. Any use of Services that facilitates illegal activities (e.g., criminal acts, service restrictions violations) is strictly prohibited.
- Honest Information: Users must provide truthful and accurate information about the service location, scope of work, access instructions, and any special requirements (e.g., materials needed, presence of pets, health considerations). Withholding important information (e.g., hidden damages, hazards) that affects service provision may result in cancellation or additional charges.
- Safe Environment: Users are responsible for ensuring that the service environment is safe, accessible, and prepared for the Service Provider. This includes providing necessary utilities (electricity, water), workspace (tables, chairs, etc.), and tools or supplies if agreed upon. For example, if a cleaning service requires special cleaners or equipment beyond standard provisions, the User should inform the Provider or supply these in advance.
- Respect and Non-Discrimination: Users must treat Service Providers with respect, dignity, and courtesy. Any form of harassment, abuse, discrimination, or violence (verbal or physical) toward a Service Provider is strictly prohibited. Quick Genie reserves the right to immediately terminate the service and account if a User is found to have engaged in inappropriate conduct. The User will be responsible for any harm or injury caused to the Service Provider due to the User's negligence or willful misconduct.
- Payment Obligations: The User must ensure that payment for Services (including any agreed extras) is made promptly through the Platform. If the Service Provider incurs additional reasonable expenses at the User's request during the service (e.g., purchasing approved cleaning supplies, paying for parking or tolls), the User agrees to reimburse the Provider for those costs. Users may provide gratuities (tips) at their discretion; these are voluntary and not required as part of the Service fee.
- Content and Communications: Users shall not post or send any unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or offensive content or messages through the Platform (including in reviews, chats, or feedback). Quick Genie reserves the right to remove or refuse to publish any content that violates these guidelines or applicable law. Users should keep communications relevant to the service and refrain from spamming or phishing.
- Account Security: Users must keep their account credentials confidential and not allow others to access their account. Users must notify Quick Genie immediately of any unauthorized account use. Quick Genie will not be liable for losses caused by unauthorized access if the User fails to report it.
- Non-Interference: Users should not attempt to negotiate separate terms with a Service Provider outside the Platform's scope or interfere with the Provider's performance. Any service instructions given to the Provider should fall within the scope of the booked service. Requests for tasks outside the agreed service (e.g., personal errands not covered by the service, illegal or unethical tasks) are prohibited.
- Insurance and Liability: Quick Genie strongly recommends that Users secure appropriate insurance coverage (e.g., homeowner's or renter's insurance) for valuable items or property. Quick Genie does not provide insurance for damage or loss of User property that may occur during a service; the User may seek recourse against the Service Provider's insurance if applicable.
- Indemnification: The User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quick Genie, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the User's negligence, breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform or Services, or violation of any law or rights of a third party. This indemnity obligation survives the termination of these Terms.
8. Non-Solicitation of Service Providers
- Users agree not to solicit, hire, engage, or in any way contract with any Service Provider introduced by Quick Genie for the provision of services similar to those offered by the Platform outside of the Platform for a period of 12 (twelve) months following the last Booking date facilitated by Quick Genie. This includes hiring the Service Provider directly or through another intermediary.
- If a User violates this non-solicitation clause, the User will owe Quick Genie a fee equivalent to 50% of the monthly subscription fee or one-time service charge that Quick Genie would have earned from an equivalent Booking with that Service Provider during the violation period. The User agrees this fee is a reasonable estimate of Quick Genie's damages and not a penalty.
- The User acknowledges that this provision is necessary to protect Quick Genie's legitimate business interests and that any breach would cause irreparable harm. This non-solicitation obligation remains in effect even after these Terms terminate or the User's account is closed.
9. Data Use and Privacy
- Quick Genie collects, uses, and stores Users' personal data in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules (including any applicable data protection regulations). By creating an account and using the Platform, the User consents to Quick Genie's collection and processing of personal data as described in this Section and our Privacy Policy.
- Data Collection: Quick Genie collects personal information needed to deliver the Services, which may include name, contact details (email, phone number), address details for service locations, payment and transaction information, identification documents, user preferences, and usage data.
- Use of Data: Personal data is used to create and manage the User's account, process Bookings and payments, communicate booking details and updates, improve and personalize the Platform's functionality, and send service reminders or confirmations. If the User opts in, data may also be used for marketing communications about promotions or new services.
- Sharing of Data: Quick Genie may share User data with third parties who assist in providing the Services. For example, Quick Genie will share relevant information with the Service Provider to facilitate service delivery (e.g., the service location, contact details, and any special instructions). Quick Genie also shares data with payment processors, customer support services, and technical platform providers (such as hosting and analytics services) when needed. Quick Genie will only share the information necessary for these third parties to perform their services and requires them to protect that data.
- Legal and Safety Disclosures: Quick Genie may disclose personal data if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority (e.g., for tax or law enforcement purposes), or to protect Quick Genie's rights, safety, or property (including enforcing these Terms). Quick Genie may also disclose information about Users if requested by government agencies or to comply with regulatory obligations.
- Data Security: Quick Genie implements reasonable security measures (such as encryption, firewalls, and secure networks) to safeguard User data. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be 100% secure. Quick Genie cannot guarantee absolute security of User data. Users should use strong, unique passwords and keep their account information safe.
- Data Retention: Quick Genie retains User data for as long as needed to provide the Services or comply with legal obligations. For example, transaction records may be kept for a number of years as required by tax laws. After account deletion, Quick Genie may retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytical purposes.
- User Rights: Users may access, update, or correct their personal information through the Platform or by contacting support. Users can also request deletion or deactivation of their account (see Section 13), subject to legal constraints (e.g., retaining records for audit).
- Privacy Policy: Detailed information on Quick Genie's data practices is provided in the Privacy Policy (accessible on the Platform). By agreeing to these Terms, the User also agrees to the Privacy Policy and to Quick Genie's use of personal data as described therein.
10. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers
- "As Is" Service: The Platform and the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Quick Genie expressly disclaims any and all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted service. Quick Genie does not guarantee that the Platform will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
- Service Quality Disclaimer: Quick Genie does not guarantee the quality or results of any Services. Quick Genie does not promise that any Service Provider will meet any specific professional qualifications, licensing, or certifications. The User assumes all risk regarding the selection of a Service Provider and the outcome of the service.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quick Genie's total liability arising from or related to the use of the Platform, Services, or these Terms shall not exceed the amount the User actually paid for the specific Service that is the subject of the claim. Under no circumstances will Quick Genie be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Third-Party Content: Quick Genie is not responsible for any content, actions, or omissions of third parties, including Service Providers. Any advice or information provided by Service Providers is their own and should not be attributed to Quick Genie. Quick Genie does not guarantee that third-party links or references (if any) will be free from viruses or defects.
- Force Majeure: Quick Genie is not liable for failure or delay in providing Services if caused by circumstances beyond Quick Genie's reasonable control (see Section 14). This includes natural disasters, wars, government actions, strikes, pandemics, or other "acts of God."
- Compliance Disclaimers: Quick Genie does not warrant that any Service is compliant with all local or national regulations. It is the User's responsibility to ensure that the use of a Service (e.g., building maintenance, child care) complies with all relevant laws and ordinances at the service location.
- Indemnity for Claims: The User's sole remedy against Quick Genie for any loss or claim is to recover, at most, the amount paid for the relevant service, except for claims arising from Quick Genie's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- No Liability for Injuries: Quick Genie is not liable for any personal injuries or property damage arising during the performance of Services. Service Providers and Users should have appropriate insurance for potential accidents, as Quick Genie does not insure against such events.
11. Dispute Resolution; Governing Law
- Governing Law: These Terms and any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
- Arbitration: If a dispute arises, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve it amicably through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall take place in Bangalore, India, and be conducted in English. A single arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties (or appointed by a recognized arbitration institution) will hear the dispute. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding, and may be entered as a judgment in any competent court.
- Court Jurisdiction: If arbitration is deemed unavailable, unenforceable, or if a party seeks injunctive relief, the courts located in Bangalore, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim or cause of action arising out of these Terms.
- Limitation of Time: Any legal action or proceeding by the User against Quick Genie must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action accrues; otherwise, it is permanently barred.
- Consumer Rights: These dispute resolution provisions do not limit the rights of Users to seek relief through the statutory consumer protection regime or other rights provided by applicable consumer law. If the User is a consumer under Indian law, Quick Genie will honor all rights under consumer protection statutes.
12. Grievance Redressal
In compliance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Quick Genie has appointed a Grievance Officer to address User complaints. Users with any grievances or complaints concerning content, Services, or violations of these Terms may contact the Grievance Officer:

Quick Genie will acknowledge receipt of a grievance within 48 hours and endeavor to resolve it within 30 days. Users may also seek remedies available under applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, if they are not satisfied with Quick Genie's response.
13. Termination
- By the User: The User may close their account and terminate this Agreement at any time through the account settings. Termination does not relieve the User of liability for payments due or obligations incurred before termination. Any active Bookings or subscriptions should be cancelled first to avoid further charges.
- By Quick Genie: Quick Genie may suspend or terminate the User's account or access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or inactivity. Quick Genie reserves the right to delete or restrict accounts that are not used for an extended period.
- Effect of Termination: Upon termination, the User's profile and access to the Platform will be deactivated. The User must stop using the Platform immediately. Any outstanding amounts owed by the User (for completed services or cancellation fees) must be paid upon termination. If the User has prepaid for services not yet rendered, Quick Genie will refund the balance according to the cancellation policy (Section 6). Quick Genie may preserve account data as required by law.
- Survival: Sections 1 (Definitions), 5 (Service Providers and Platform Role), 6 (Cancellations, etc.), 7 (User Responsibilities), 8 (Non-Solicitation), 9 (Data Use and Privacy), 10 (Limitation of Liability), 11 (Dispute Resolution), 13 (Termination), and any other terms that by their nature are intended to survive, shall survive termination of these Terms.
14. Force Majeure
Neither Quick Genie nor its Service Providers shall be liable for any delay or failure in performance of their obligations (including providing or performing Services) if such delay or failure is due to events beyond their reasonable control (a "Force Majeure Event"). Such events may include, without limitation, natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes), fire, epidemic or pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, government action, strikes, labor disputes, power outages, or major technical failures.
- If a Force Majeure Event occurs, the affected party will promptly notify the other and make reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as possible. Service obligations will be suspended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event.
- If the Force Majeure Event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the affected Booking or subscription without penalty, and Quick Genie will refund any prepaid fees for services not yet rendered.
15. Communications and Marketing Consent
- By creating an account, the User expressly consents to receive communications from Quick Genie via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or other electronic channels for transactional purposes (such as booking confirmations, reminders, service updates, and important notices) and for marketing/promotional purposes (such as special offers, newsletters).
- Message frequency will vary depending on the number of bookings and promotions. The User's consent to receive electronic communications is not a condition of using the Platform (except for essential service messages). Message and data rates may apply as per the User's mobile carrier.
- The User may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those messages or by adjusting account preferences. However, the User cannot opt out of transactional messages related to their ongoing Bookings (e.g., changes to service time, payment receipts) as these are necessary for service delivery. Quick Genie will obtain separate consent for any marketing communications from third parties.
16. Changes to Terms
- Quick Genie may update these Terms from time to time (for example, to comply with law changes or new business features). Material changes will be communicated to Users at least 15 days before the new terms take effect, via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is the User's responsibility to review these Terms periodically. The latest version of the Terms will always be available on the Platform.
- Quick Genie also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform or Services (including content, offerings, or feature availability) at any time, with or without notice. Quick Genie will not be liable to the User or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform or Services.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver: No waiver by Quick Genie of any term or condition of these Terms shall be deemed a waiver of any other term or condition. Any failure or delay by Quick Genie in exercising a right under these Terms does not waive that right or any other.
